You'll find Trek's Neko pedaled by women while commuting, bike path riding, and exploring dirt roads. This go-anywhere machine is rails-to-trails capable and fun everywhere. It's equipped with a suspension fork and a step-through frame that is modeled after 29-inch mountain bikes to make it capable on and off roads. When you add the road bike size wheels with multi-surface tires, you get speed and efficiency on pavement. Wherever you ride, you'll dig the genuine Shimano 21-speed drivetrain for intuitive, easy shifting and the confidence-inspiring brakes. All this adds up to a no-compromise ride that's truly the best of both worlds.

I went from a Trek 7.2 to this one because I wanted a smoother ride that the suspension could provide. I liked my 7.2 but with our roads being so bumpy and uneven, I had to slow right down and you could feel every bump on the road. The Neko is such a smooth ride and you don't lose momentum, in fact, because you don't have to slow down for all the bumps, you actually get to where you're going alot faster. Love this new bike!! Colors are awesome and really like the shimmer paint.
