The Midwest comes alive in the fall with vibrant foliage, transforming trails and roads into colorful corridors of red, orange, and yellow. It’s a great time to enjoy nature's beauty while riding. Trails and roads tend to be quieter, temperatures are cooling off, and bugs are nowhere to be found! Enjoy a more peaceful, relaxed ride with the essentials to keep those miles coming.

Your perfect ride starts with the right bike...

Fall Weather Accessories

To make the most of your ride, it's essential to prepare for the unique challenges that come with autumn weather.  Being ready for whatever comes your way will help you enjoy everything fall has to offer on two wheels!

Temperatures can fluctuate, so dress in layers for warmth without overheating. A moisture-wicking base layer and a weatherproof jacket are great options. An extra cap, some gloves or pogies will come in handy in the cooler temps.

Shop Clothing

Protect yourself from water, mud, and debris with fenders. Keep dry and comfortable while you ride.

Wet leaves, dirt, and mud can make roads and trails slippery. Consider wider tires or those with more tread, especially for off-road rides.

With shorter days and lower light levels, make sure your bike lights are charged and wear bright or reflective clothing to stay visible.
