I don’t have a hitch on my car now. Can I get one put on my car?
Yes, most cars can have an aftermarket hitch installed. Talk with a Wheel & Sprocket Associate for more details or local recommendations.
What about locking the bikes to my rack?
Locking your bike to the rack is highly recommended. Some models come with a lock integrated into the rack. Locking hitch pins may also come with the rack or may be purchased separately.
How many bikes can I carry on my hitch?
1.25” hitches are only compatible with two bike car racks. Your car must be outfitted with a 2” hitch to carry more than two.
What if my bike frame doesn’t have a top tube? Can I still hang it on a trunk rack?
Yes. Most brands that offer a trunk rack offer a top tube adapter so you are still able to attach your bike to the rack.
I lost my car rack keys, can I replace them?
Yes. We can order a new set for you. There may be some troubleshooting if you do not have the serial number for the lost keys.
What happens if one of the parts breaks on the rack? Can I replace them?
Absolutely! Depending on when and which rack you purchased it maybe covered under warranty. If not we can order a replacement.
I have an E-Bike. Are there racks that accommodate my heavier bike?
Yes, most brands have a specific model that will accommodate a heavier bike.
