THE TREK PRECISION FIT PROCESS

1. INTERVIEW & DISCOVERY

During the interview and discovery stage, we gather information that will aid in optimizing your overall cycling experience. Learning about you as a rider is an important step in assessing your goals and understanding your needs. Reviewing your training frequency, routines, medical history, and any concerns is critical before recommending any changes in your riding position or cycling training.

2. PHYSICAL ASSESSMENT

The fitter does an initial physical assessment of the rider, and at this point can begin to address your concerns about performance, pain, or any other issues that you hope to alleviate during the bike fit.

3. LOWER BODY EVALUATION

We conduct a thorough assessment and make incremental changes to determine ideal:
  • Cleat position
  • Leg extension
  • Saddle selection and position

4. UPPER BODY EVALUATION

We analyze your posture and positioning to select the ideal:
  • Stem (length, height, and angle)
  • Handlebar (width and shape)
